AAC BRICKS

AAC Bricks (Autoclaved Aerated Bricks) are light weight building blocks for construction manufactured using German technology under high temperature and pressure. They are cost effective and faster for construction. They have several advantages over conventional clay brick and eco-friendly. They are thermal resistant and durable.

  • 4"& 6" block -  Internal Walls

  • 8" & 9" block - External Walls

AAC Bricks of all sizes - 4" , 6", 8" and 9" available

AAC Block Adhesive

BRICK FIX is a polymer modified thin set AAC Block Jointing Adhesive Mortar to be used with and especially developed for AAC Blocks (Aerated Autoclaved Concrete Blocks). It is made with Portland cement, carefully graded silica sand and polymers to enhance workability, strength, water retention parameters and overall performance.

ADVANTAGES of AAC Joint mortar

  • Time Saving

  • 3-5mm Joint Thickness

  • No Cement and Sand Required

  • No Water Curing Required

  • Conforms to IS, ASTM and EN standards

  • Low VOC Content

  • Not Flammable

  • Good Workability

Conventional Mortar vs BRICK FIX-AAC Block Mortar

Brick Fix - AAC Joint Mortar provides a thinner joint of 3mm to 5mm compared to conventional mortars 15mm to 25mm joint which saves material and is economy.

Brick Fix - AAC Block Joint Mortar doesn't require water curing due to presence of       water retention agents in the formula which stores water and has self - curing      capabilities.

Brick Fix - AAC Block Joint Mortar's thin joint lowers the chances of water seepage       through the joints.

Brick Fix - AAC Block Adhesive has strength enhancing polymers which provides a    stronger bond and conforms and extends the IS,ASTMand EN standards.

Brick Fix - AAC Block Adhesive saves time in mixing, laying and water curing which      significant reduces the labour costs involved.

Brick Fix - AAC Block Adhesive has imported speciality polymers added to it which      enhances the workability and ease of using the material.

Step 1: Surface Preparation: The substrate should be cleaned off any dirt, dust, oil, grease and other latencies with water. A bed should be laid using cement and mortar to maintain the zero level. AAC Blocks should be in Surface Saturated Dry Condition (SSD), if not shall be properly treated with water to attain SSD condition.

Step 2: Mixing: Take water in a container and slowly add and mix the Brick Fix in 1:3 ratio until a uniform paste is obtained and then wait for 5 mins for the mixture to settle.

Step 3: Usage: Take a reference point with a thread and apply a thin layer of brick fix mixture on the bed and then place AAC Bricks by referencing with a thread and plumb. Ensure that after each layer of AAC block wall, the zero-level is maintained.

Step 4: Curing: No water curing is required. Water curing may be required if the surface of AAC Blocks is not in SSD condition. Leave the wall for 24 to 48 hours with out disturbing it to gain initial strength.
